In 1981, MEC Corporation – a subsidiary of Mikuni Kikai Kogyo and also an export agent for KITZ Japan for Singapore and Malaysia, decided to set up a company in Singapore to tap into the country’s rapidly growing industrial development.

In November 1981, the newly formed Mikuni Engineering Singapore was appointed the exclusive authorized distributor for KITZ valves in Singapore.

Two years later, Mikuni Malaysia was established for similar reasons. With the inception of Mikuni Brunei in 1999, Mikuni Golden Triangle was formed and thereafter localized in late 1999.

Since then, Mikuni has gain its status and reputation in the valve distribution businesses built from the support of many of its reputable customer from the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industries; Petronas Group of
